Overview
OnePortfolio is an agentic AI portfolio management platform for financial services and investment management firms. It gives portfolio managers a consolidated view of their portfolios across custodians, currencies and asset classes, and uses AI agents to surface insights, prepare portfolio reviews and support investment decisions.
The platform was designed from day one for the standards of the financial industry: the AI assists portfolio managers rather than replacing them, every recommendation is explainable, and client data is handled with the confidentiality the industry demands.
Technologies
The Challenge
Bringing AI into investment management is as much a question of trust as of technology. Financial firms operate in a strictly regulated environment, so any AI that touches investment decisions must be transparent, auditable and supervised by humans. At the same time, the platform has to consolidate large volumes of financial data from multiple sources and keep it accurate and up to date, all while meeting strict requirements on client onboarding, suitability, audit trails and data residency.
The Solution
We built a cloud-native agentic AI architecture with domain-specific language models tuned for portfolio management, on top of a high-performance asynchronous core written in Rust. An AI governance framework defines what each agent can do, keeps portfolio managers in the loop and records how every output was produced. Compliance was built into the foundation rather than added later, with support for KYC/AML onboarding, suitability checks, complete audit trails and data residency requirements.
Results
OnePortfolio gives investment teams a modern, AI-powered way of working without compromising on control or compliance. Portfolio managers spend less time gathering data and preparing reports and more time on investment decisions and their clients, while the firm keeps full oversight of how AI is used across its business.
